For example, if silver goes up 177% from $18 to $50, then a one-ounce numismatic collectible coin valued at $100 is likely to go up by only 32% to $132.

One of the main reasons that coin collectors and bullion stackers choose Mexican Libertad coins over others is because of their often limited populations or mintages. Especially when compared to some of the most highly sold government bullion coins issued elsewhere, Mexican Libertad coins are pretty damn rare.

Libertads often cost $1.50 to $2.00 more than Eagles, and Eagles are very expensive themselves. The US Mint charges its authorized distributors a flat $2.00 premium over spot for Eagles, which explains why they're so expensive compared to Maples or Britannias. Anyone know why Libertads are so steep?.

1oz Libertad will spend the same as a 1oz ASE will spend the same as a 1oz Maple will spend the same as $1.40 of constitutional silver, when the time comes. I understand paying premiums right now. The cost to hold is ~$5.50/oz. The premium on the premium is on you.

Silver libertads use to be on par with ASE, and maples. I recall back in 2017 buying a tube of 2017 maples & 2015 libertads, days apart, for under $450 a tube. I believe the maples were $447 and the libertads were $448, nearly identical in price. How I wish I bought 2 tubes of libertads, given their high markup compared to ASE and maples. 1.
